Olivet Assembly Australia Hosts Pacific Church Planter’s Q2 Strategic Meeting

The Pacific Church Planters' Q2 Strategic Meeting was held after the Easter Retreat in Olivet Centre, Central Coast, NSW, bringing together pastors, church leaders, and missionaries from various Pacific Island nations. The two-day event, organized by Olivet Assembly Australia, was marked by a spirit of yearning for God’s Word, His will, through the studying of the Word and prayer as participants sought to advance the Gospel in their respective mission fields.

Church planters shared powerful testimonies of God's work in their communities, highlighting the unique challenges and opportunities they faced in their cultural contexts. Discussions were held on how to creatively engage with local communities, address cultural barriers, and meet practical needs to effectively communicate the love and grace of Jesus Christ.

In addition to testimonies and discussions, the meeting featured workshops and training sessions facilitated by experienced church leaders from Australia and other nations. Topics such as discipleship, leadership development, and community engagement were covered, providing practical tools and insights for effective ministry in the Pacific context.

The Olivet Centre team hosting the event went above and beyond to provide warm hospitality, offering comfortable accommodation, delicious meals, and a supportive environment for networking and fellowship. Local church members also actively participated in the discussions, offering their insights and support to the visiting church planters.

The meeting concluded with a time of prayer, as participants joined in worship and intercession for the Pacific Islands and their churches. There was a deep sense of gratitude for the opportunity to come together, learn from one another, and collaborate for the advancement of God's kingdom in the Pacific region.
